Our Story

I am so excited to be sharing a little bit about myself with you. First and foremost, I strongly feel that I have somewhat of a calling to help young people conquer some of the toughest challenges they face. I spent years working for the Dallas County Juvenile Department as the Lead Trainer on swing shift, where I provided guidance and counseling for numerous youth. I have also pointed kids and young teenagers in the right direction in some of the most dangerous neighborhoods throughout Compton, California, and South Central Los Angeles, where I once lived before moving to Texas! As a Certified Gang Instructor and someone who has worked with countless young people from all walks of life, I decided to create A Cause For The Future. I myself also can relate to having a troubled past as a young teen. Most said I would grow up to be just another statistical number without a father, but I am a living witness of change! Whether I’m helping kids overcome a tough personal obstacle or simply lending an ear when they need to talk, I take immense pride in being there for those who need me. I can’t wait to connect with you and see how we can work together to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.
